Ole Ole Bali, SohoKL at Solaris Mont Kiara

Add: J-0G-15 and 16, SohoKL, Solaris Mont Kiara, 2 Jalan Solaris, KL

R and A had recommended this place, due to the good food, nice ambience and reasonable prices. So we ended up here at Solaris to celebrate A's birthday :-)

Nice al-fresco layout, with a garden feel due to the parasols, but can get rather hot and humid, despite the floor-standing aircon units.

Cucumber (RM$11) - The gang seemed to like it, had 4 between us!

Lemongrass Tea (RM$6) - Looked "the part" but tasted so .. uh .. unspectacular.

J's Nasi Campur (RM$33).

Ole Ole Trio (RM$38) - Large mixed platter, very delicious lemongrass chicken skewers.

My choice ... and a delicious one it was too, RM$25 - Nasi BBQ Chicken. Two very tender and tasty chicken pieces, large portions!

Ribeye Steak (RM$33) - Not much to shout about according to A.

Other dishes consumed, but (shudder) I didn't take piccies of ...
Sup Buntut (RM$14),
Soto Ayam (RM$11),
Nasi campur Chicken (RM$33), and
Nasi Seafood (RM$31).

Overall, a good place, but I would recommend sitting inside next time, and the service could be improved, as some of the dishes came really quick (in minutes), whilst others took up to 20+ minutes.
