Goodbye Redangkalong

Till we meet again ...

History
Our resort was first established in the year 2000. It has since seen many thousands of visitors pass through our private beach. Many couples come here for a romantic and secluded getaway.
Divers are always fascinated by the marine life that is around the Redang Island, as well as the by the wide variety of species at our own house reef. Sightings of turtles and baby sharks is not uncommon.

Rooms
Accomodation is made from native materials of Malaysia and is based on twin or triple share. We have 38 rooms with ensuites and the comfort of air-conditioning which is available 24 hours.

Facilities & Activities
Diving, snorkeling, fishing, beach volleyball, kayaking, board games and a mini karaoke. Our resort shop sells a range of t-shirts, film, batteries, toiletries, souvenirs, etc. The resort office is equipped with public telephones and a fax machine for communication with the mainland. Should you wish to have slightly more formal discussions, a meeting room is available for your usage.

The Pulau Redang Dive Center
Redangkalong resort has a fully equipped PADI 5-Star IDC Dive Center. Our Dive center is built with facilities to accommodate all divers. We conduct the full range of PADI Courses until to the highest rating of being a PADI Instructor. We have air-conditioned classrooms equipped with AV equipment, a spacious equipment storage room and a deck for divers to relax after the dive. An underwater library to help you dentify marine life.

Diver's Den operates 4 customized dive boats which can get you to your dive sites within minutes. A large whiteboard lists divemaster and guests assigned to each boat. A quick look at the whiteboard will tell you the dives scheduled for your boat that day giving you an idea of what to expect and what lens to assemble on your camera. Full tanks will be waiting for you and at Diver's Den you NEVER have to carry a heavy tank.

The center is managed by The Diver's Den – Mr A.B. Lee (PADI Master Instructor ) - who has been diving in the waters of Redang for the past 17 years. If you are a passionate underwater photographer come dive with him and get great photography tips from him.
