Sassorosso, Kuala Lumpur

SASSOROSSO, 9 Lorong Yap Kwan Seng, Kuala Lumpur
Tel: 03-2166 6428
Business Hours: 12pm - 12am (Open every day)
Selection of wine - Sta Digna Merlot and Prosecco (Sparkling white) ... It was OK!
Choice of starter - Mixed Antipasti ... Great value at RM$48, so much food! It was pretty good!
And, for the mains - Black cod (RM$48) which was over-cooked ... and Ossobucco (Lamb, RM$44) which was OK, but better at Sheraton Imperial's Villa Danielli!
The damage? RM$210 ... OK food, great service, stunning venue.

The Star, 16th Feb : " Opened about three weeks ago, this restaurant in a bungalow at Lorong Yap Kwan Seng offers authentic Italian food from the country's various regions, tinged with a modern twist. Sassorosso’s executive chef-cum-director Andrea Zanella said he hoped to educate his customers on Italian food through his dishes. Zanella, who is from Vicenza, a region sandwiched between Verona and Venice, wants peole here to know that Italian food is not all ‘heavy’."
The Malay Mail, 15th March ... " Located in a rather quiet corner of Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, Sassorosso is a fully refurbished old-style colonial bungalow that has been done up with elegant taste. The restaurant seats around 50+ people, but outside, it seats around 70.Given the simply beautiful view as well as the smells from the traditional oven outside, this is where you will want to sit."
